Bush has illegally wiretapped American citizens
because of the urgency of the "War on Terror."
Bush holds detainees without charge or trial
in the name of waging the "War on Terror."
He condones torture, opens library records,
& governs in secret...for the "War on Terror."
But he stands fast by the port security deal:
if we can't outsource our own US security...
then the terrorists have already won.
Shouldn't some rights be more worth fighting for?
Raise a glass to our rights (& not to "the Right")
at our weekly democratic drinking club.
