If you rely on the American "news" media for information, you probably don't have a clue. That's because the government does not provide much information, and the news media relies on the government as their primary source. Investigative journalism barely exists and, what is often presented as news is actually commentary or merely the reading of a press release.

If you are an American taxpayer, you are directly funding this war and the killing. Before voting in November, shouldn't you, as a responsible citizen, be aware of what the present government is doing in your name?

This site presents an idea of what our invasion has wrought as of the end of October 2004. The numbers are as accurate as can be found and are from sources such and the Pentagon and British military. and, when less certain, are usually estimated low. The true number is likely to be more than presented here and is increasing by dozens on most days.

Of course, if you are reading this, you will probably pass with flying colors... but you may still find a surprise or two.

If only the folks who NEED to wake up would be willing to actually do their homework... even though it is SO much easier to echo Bush-fed soundbites...
